McGuigan Wines is going alcohol-free, well at least for these Zero range of wines. The varieties include shiraz, sparkling, rosé, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc and are now available at your local first Choice Liquor Market store. The wines were in development for over two years and use the latest spinning cone technology, working at low temperatures to gently remove alcohol after the fermentation process, ensuring the wines maintain their delicate fruit flavours. The wines were created to maintain strong varietal characteristic, it added, containing no artificial sweeteners or additives.

An all-time popular varietal, [yellow tail] Pure Bright Chardonnay has a creamy finish while being silky smooth and easy to drink. 25% lighter in alcohol compared to [yellow tail] Chardonnay, but full of flavour. Refreshing and vibrant, with fresh peach and melon flavours and a hint of vanilla.

Filled with vibrant aromas of white peach and nectarine, with hints of lemon citrus. Lite and refreshing palate of crisp lemon flavours and honeydew melon, accompanied by hints of vanilla, finishing with a lingering acid drive. The perfect accompaniment to antipasto with soft cheese, or try a fresh seafood platter.

A twist on an all-time favourite, [yellow tail] Buttery Chardonnay is full of flavour with a rich buttery finish. Rich buttery aromas complimented with notes of vanilla and butterscotch and toasted oak. Enjoy with a creamy pasta or a cheese platter shared with friends.

Freycinet Chardonnay is a stunning cool-climate example of the varietal. Nutty, toasty barrel ferment aromas are combined with minerally citrus characters and the palate is wonderfully multi layered in flavour underpinned by laser sharp acidity.

Jacob's Creek Cool Harvest Pinot Grigio was harvested in the cool of night when the fruit was at its coolest and freshest to capture the natural, crisp, fruit flavours. Deep in the middle of the night, carefully selected parcels of quality Pinot Grigio were picked with the fruit simply bursting with natural vibrancy. The growing season was perfect with extended rain during the winter of 2010 allowing a healthy fruit set and ample crop. On the nose the Cool Harvest Grigio has elevated notes of pear, stone-fruit and lemon zest while the palate follows up with the same zesty pear and wonderful citrus notes.
