A pioneer of the Australian wine industry, Jim Barry was responsible for shaping South Australia's Clare Valley as a benchmark producer of world-class shiraz and cabernet sauvignon. Today, two generations of the Barry family ensure his legacy grows and continues on, constantly innovating and producing high-quality wines. Bright currant and dark cherry fruit is flanked by fine, savoury tannin, giving the palate both intensity and directive structure. Layers of sweet fruit and savoury notes combine to give a wine of complexity and seamless balance. One of the established names of Coonawarra, Redman Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from hand pruned low yielding mature vines. Ripe blackcurrant fruit and vanillin oak make this fine drinking now.

A recent addition to the Petaluma stable, the Petaluma of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon is a great example of modern Australian winemaking when let to mingle with traditional wine estate and aged vineyards. Notes of dark chocolate, mocha, espresso and forest floor sit alongside bold blackcurrant fruit and cedar nuances. The finish is long and sustained.

The aroma has a lifted perfume and is full of dark cherry fruit with a touch of vanilla. The palate is bold and full, but has softness, spice and elegant tannins. An approachable Cabernet that will drink well now or cellar for up to 5 years.

Typical of Wynns Coonawarra Estate, this Shiraz has aromas of ground black pepper, berry and distinctive floral notes. A medium bodied wine with a lingering finish that will age gracefully. Wynns Coonawarra Estate is internationally celebrated for producing wines of consistent quality and depth of flavor and Coonawarra is considered one of Australia's best wine regions due to its regionally specific terra Rossa soil and gentle climate. Originally founded in 1891, Wynns Coonawarra Estate has grown to be the largest single vineyard holder in Coonawarra and is privileged to hold some of the best and oldest vines on Coonawarra’s famous terra Rossa soil.

From premium Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the renowned Coonawarra region only the best fruit is used to produce an elegant dry red wine exhibiting intense varietal berry fruit characters and fine oak tannins.

'Black Label' Cabernet Sauvignon, which was first vintaged in 1954, has evolved markedly over the decades. It is arguably Australia's most recognised Cabernet Sauvignon, and has more than any other, helped define Coonawarra. The wine is matured in new and seasoned French oak for 12 to 18 months. A classic Coonawarra Cabernet with pristine dark berry/ cassis aromas, fine grained tannins and underlying savoury nuances, it develops into a rich, chocolaty wine with age. In a super vintage, this wine can look astonishingly like a 2nd or 3rd growth Bordeaux with its pure cassis aromas and cedary complexity.
