This Clare Valley Cabernet from Taylors shows ample varietal blackcurrant flavour seasoned with some attractive sweet oak. The tannins are firm but nicely in balance.

With four generations of winemaking to draw on, McGuigan wines, led by winemaker Neil McGuigan, have been awarded International Winemaker of the Year four times. A contemporary cabernet sauvignon featuring alluring black and red berry fruit, briar and spicy oak aromas. The rich fruit driven palate builds slowly with cocoa tannins and blackcurrants coating the mouth before the restrained power and seamless structure deliver and elegant and long finish.

This Western Australian classic is both bright and ripe, rich Cabernet fruit aromas with some fine oak background. Medium bodied and complex at the first instance, with fine tannins and chocolate contribution from Merlot. This wine has persistent fine tannins and savoury fruit sweetness to the finish.

Since 1992, Madfish have been producing an exciting range of contemporary, cool climate wines inspired by the wild, coastal and pure characterises of Australia's South West. Aged in predominantly older oak to ensure the richness of fruit is preserved and minimal tannin is absorbed. Vintage Note: A warm October and November advanced budburst andflowering by about two weeks earlier than average.March then saw more stable and mild conditionswhich allowed for a slower finish to the season andensured enough time for tannins to ripen and flavourto develop.

Chateau Grand Meynau Bordeaux presents a dark deep ruby red. Intense, ripe fruits such as plum, raspberry and black cherry expose a lovely complexity when the hint of creamy spice surfaces. The palate delivers a harmonious mix of berries and gentle tannins.
