Pommery Millesime Vintage
The hallmark of this Champagne has always been elegance and extreme purity of fruit. Still extremely youthful, the chardonnay component gives lovely white floral aromas and tropical citrus flavours. The lingering persistent finish showing toast, grilled almonds and French pastry, Very stylish indeed.
Moet & Chandon Rose Brut Non-Vintage
Looking for a special French Champagne to celebrate with? Moet has always crafted their NV Rose as a very popular, fleshy and flavoursome style. This Champagne is fully-bodied & zestful, wild strawberries, raspberries and cherries fill the palate and finishes with a soft freshness.
Veuve Clicquot Non-Vintage Rose
Elegant and fruity, this wine frees the senses, charms the eye and ravishes the palate. Proudly bearing the imperial red signature of Madame Clicquot. It is a delicious rosé Champagne with plenty of character. 'THIS is one of the go-to French brands for a Valentine's moment. It's all about the name, the sunset brushstroke of this rose´ and its abundant presence in the glass. There is a cherry to redcurrant-fruit focus and even a background note of sarsaparilla.' - Herald Sun, Melbourne, 12 Feb 2013
Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Vintage
Veuve Clicquot has been producing fine quality Champagne since it was founded in 1772. In 1810, Madame Clicquot broke new ground by creating the first vintage Champagne, made of grapes from one single harvest. Veuve's non vintage is consistently rated in the top handful of NV Champagnes and delivers a powerful bubbly with a rich mouthfeel. The Ponsardin vintage is elegant with generous freshness and the Pinot Noir lends body to a very lively wine. On the palate there's layers of floral and fruity complexity that flows into a remarkably long and powerful finish.
Mumm Millesime Vintage Champagne
Showing tropical fruits, apple, toffee and fresh baked bread notes. Very fresh and lifted, delicious drinking and a credit to Chef de Cave, Didier Mariotti who has helped transform the brand to it's former glory. This is arguably one of the best vintage Champagnes for its price on the market.
Louis Roederer Brut Vintage
This new vintage is fresh and crisp, taut and racy. A fine youthful wine that promises to age gracefully for five to six years. 70% Pinot noir - 30% Chardonnay. One third of the wine is matured in oak casks prior to bottling, after four years on lees, it is disgorged, it sees dosage of 8-10 g/l before another 6 months in bottle prior to release.
Laherte Frères Brut Champagne Non-Vintage
The distinctive, geologically complex terroir of Chavot and the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay in general is very different to the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims areas where our other growers are based, and the style of wine is creamier and with more fruit.
Laurent Perrier Rose
'Rose were for long regarded as the illegitimate offspring of Champagne, recipients of coarse, heavy pressings wines partially masked by high dosage levels. Today they are routinely priced above 'normal' NV (or vintage) blends and are carefully made. Whether they really merit the premium is irrelevant: the market has spoken. But Laurent-Perrier is a special case: this is 100% pinot noir, rather than a blend coloured by pinot noir red wine. The full salmon colour is an immediate indication of its provenance, the bouquet complex and alluring, leading directly into the cherry and strawberry flavours of the long, sustained palate; excellent finish and aftertaste.' - 95 points, James Halliday Top 100
Champagne Paul Bara Millesime
Louis Roederer Collection
The Collection blend is dominated by Chardonnay which was of exceptional quality in the 2017 vintage. The perfectly ripe Chardonnay grapes lend the wine its aromas of ripe, sweet fruit complemented by subtle oaky notes. The palate is rich and ripe with a luxurious texture that coats the palate, the signature of an outstanding Chardonnay. The Pinot noir and Meunier grapes from the Vallée de la Marne complete the wines broad, luscious, smooth and juicy character. The finish is energetic and fresh.
