So … whilst we can’t tell you who made this stunning McLaren Vale Shiraz we can say that their top wines usually sell for $100 a bottle, and they have picked up some of Australia’s highest winemaking gongs. Made with fruit from vineyards in the Willunga and Sellicks sub-regions, it shows luscious blackberry and bramble fruit, smoky oak and delicious spice with long fine tannins on the finish. You’ll be very pleased you managed to secure a case!

Leconfield regularly produce fine full flavoured Shiraz. This release from McLaren Vale shows spicy berry-like varietal character with some minty-chocolately regional hints balanced tannins and well judged oak.

This delightful blend has picked up 8 Gold medals so far including internationally at shows in New York, San Francisco, New Zealand, China and more! In the glass: Dark red. On the nose: Spicy dark berry, vanilla and earth. On the palate: Rich and chocolatey with sweet, dark plum and mulberry fruit, savoury oak and earthy spice persistence. Alcohol sweetness gives texture and length.

An aromatic nose of blueberries, dark cherry fruits, floral and spice notes. Medium to full bodied, blueberry, plum and dark cherry fruits burst onto the palate. Vibrant fruit combines with notes of red flowers, cacao and layers of cooking spice. The hallmark sandy/biscuity tannins of Blewitt Spring linger on the palate.

Vibrant in colour the nose shows plum and berry fruit with spice pepper and well integrated oak. The palate has good fruit weight with attractive berry flavours and a fine tannin finish.

Yangarra Estate is a biodynamic wine farm in the McLaren Vale devoted solely to producing wines from the best grape varieties of the southern Rhone. Shiraz from the Yangarra estate vineyard adopts more of a cooler climate expression than the typical McLaren Vale style, thanks to the vineyards elevation and cooling night breezes from the nearby Southern Lofty Ranges, but retains concentration and complexity. lots of lifted violet aromas, with fresh cherries and plums, with a soft and juicy palate and fine elegant tannins.
