Named after the visionary pioneer John Riddoch (1827-1901) who established the Coonawarra Fruit Colony in 1890. The cool maritime climate and exceptional vineyard sites produce wines of beautiful aromatic complexity, rich flavours and freshness. This classic Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in French and American oak barrels, is concentrated and supple with blackcurrant, dark cherry, earthy chocolate and plentiful fine-grained textures.

The Merlot combines dark cherries and plums, dusted with a hint of tobacco. This wine is savoury and lush with persistence and a fine, silky finish.

A relatively new addition to the Taylors range, the Jaraman Cabernet Sauvignon is part of a range that includes some of the best in the Taylors lineup of fine wines. Elegant with intense fruit flavours of cherry and cassis along with hints of mint, cedar and spice.

Leconfield's Cabernet Sauvignon is the flagship of Leconfield and a classic Coonawarra Cabernet. Coonawarra is regarded as Australia's premier region for Cabernet Sauvignon. The Reschke properties are located on the famous strip of 'terra rossa' soil in Coonawarra and has been owned by the family for almost 100 years. The fruit selected for Empyrean is the best on their 10.8 acre site and is only made in exceptional years.

Only the best parcels from any given year are used to produce Hollick's Ravenswood Cabernet. Partial fermentation and maturation for 18 months in new French barriques leads to intense cassis, tobacco leaf flavours with slight minty notes. Made to age, the tannins can be pronounced early, yet set the scene for a classic Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon.
