This is a typical cool climate Yarra Valley Pinot Noir with aromas of cherries and summer berries and hints of spice and oak. The palate is bright with red fruits and soft tannin. This is a versatile wine that will match well with many foods; try it with a charcuterie platter, pizza/pasta and porcini mushrooms or barbecued meats.

This well crafted Pinot Noir presents red fruit aromas of raspberries and strawberries coupled with some rose and earthiness. The lush and medium bodied palate impresses you with its flavours of sweet fruit, fine tannins, balanced acidity and a satisfying finale. Age this wine in the cellar for 3 to 5 years for great complexity. Enjoy it with roasted chicken, salmon or pasta dishes.

This wine is grown, picked and made to be elegant in style, with lifted strawberry Pinot Noir aromas. It is dry, yet succulent wine with fresh acidity and fine texture. A lovely aperitif enjoyed on its own or with lighter foods such as antipasto, pâté or fresh summer seafood.

Aroma/Palate: Made from the classic Hunter white varieties semillon (70%) and chardonnay (30%). The semillon provides great freshness with its citrus acidity, while the chardonnay lends this wine a wonderful balance and fullness on the palate. The team at Oakridge are going from strength to strength these days and they are taking the Over The Shoulder range with them. Dry maraschino cherry and gently gamey yet clean mouthful of delicious Pinot! Really great finishing length for this sort of price!

From the ever impressive Yering Station, this Chardonnay offers toasty barrel ferment characters, good supporting oak and ripe peach aromas leading to a textured and well rounded palate. One of the better value examples out there.
