A Shoemaker, also known as a Cordwainer, once lived at a creek. When he passed on, the place was then named after his most important tool, Snob, the small anvil used to shape the toe end of a boot. A balanced wine, The Cordwainer is a beautifully crafted Chardonnay with bright summer fruits of melon and intense stone fruit aromas on the nose. Combine with lees contact during barrel fermentation, the acidity is well integrated with the French oak, creating a seductive delicious finish.

Fragrant aromas of orange blossom and citrus peel entice you to taste the soft and mouth watering flavours of this lovely delicate Riesling.

The Clare Valley and Riesling are a match made in wine heaven. Sam Barry has incredible local knowldege and a long family history in the region and is the driving force behind this Riesling.At 7% ABV, it is light on alcohol and but certianly not in flavour or character and shows all the great hallmarks of why Riesling from the Clare Valley has such an impressive reputation. Sourced from a prized vineyard east of Watervale, this wine highlights exotic lime fruit, lily blossom, and heady floral aromas, with a palate marked by deep lime core, spicy acidity, and a chalky, fairy dust-like finish.
