Riposte Wines 'The Scimitar' Riesling

Slices of citrus and floral notes abound on the nose of the 2019 Scimitar Single Vineyard Clare Valley Riesling complimenting a palate of lingering fresh lime and lemon flavours and finely balanced acid.

Claymore Wines Walk This Way Riesling

This regional collaboration release, developed in partnership with selected local growers showcases Clare Valley Riesling at its best. We invite you, as we invited them, to 'walk this way' and sample the rewards derived from working together, across our special part of the wine world, to celebrate our regional hero!

Jim Barry The Nurse Series Riesling

Aromas of lemon, grapefruit juice, brown lime and white flowers combine with a lick of mineral and wet slate on the nose. The palate is refreshing, with flavours of grapefruit and citrus rind with a white floral lift. The fruit weight shows the hallmarks of Watervale Riesling with zesty acidity, that gives line but still allows a sense of generosity.

Knappstein Clare Valley Pinot Gris

A perfect mix of orange zest, ginger spice and ripe pear combine with notes of vanilla and baked pastry. The palate is richly flavoured and delightfully textured, carrying the opulent spice-poached pear, quince and lemon honey flavours through to a clean crisp finish.

Crabtree Pomona Riesling

Riesling is an under-rated chameleon, and this is a rare find. When the new vintage talks come up for the Crabtree Pomona riesling, I pounce on everything we can get. 2022 was heralded as being the vintage of a lifetime for many in South Australia, but the 2023 vintage in Clare managed to bump it out by a mile. We’re almost at the point of licking the bottle just to get every last drop. There’s hints of orange peel and jasmine underlying the preserved lemon and lime freshness. Heaps of that roaring acid. Fresh, dry, and perfect to quench your thirst on a warm day.

Rhythm Stick Wines Red Robin Clare Valley Reserve Riesling

Bouquet & Pal- A restrained floral perfumed nose with lifted lemon/lime aromas. The clean lime/lemon citrus flavours that linger to a long dry finish. The Reserve Riesling can be enjoyed now or carefully cellared for some years to fully capture its potential. This is a wine for the patient lovers of traditional Clare Valley Riesling.

Atlas Wines Home Block Riesling

Zippy, zappy, zoomy riz! This is what we drink at home. Racy acidity and slatey minerality hold this in good stead for future drinking but this is such a wonderful wine to tuck into its youth that we doubt it'll make it past the summer. This is a stunning wine - zippy, lifted, aromatic rizza from the talented hands of Adam Barton at Atlas Wines (a verified Mofo fave producer). Green apple and pithy lime juice - pretty classic for the region. Limestone minerality and bristly acidity make for a playful, energetic drinking experience. It's bright and showing pure fruit expression, coupled with some floral aromatic complexity. This is super stylish and completely classic in every way.

Riposte By Tim Knappstein The Scimitar Riesling, Clare Valley

Riposte by Tim Knappstein The Scimitar Riesling 2024 (Clare Valley) showcases the region’s signature Riesling style, crafted by third-generation winemaker Tim Knappstein. Sourced from a prized vineyard east of Watervale, this wine highlights exotic lime fruit, lily blossom, and heady floral aromas, with a palate marked by deep lime core, spicy acidity, and a chalky, fairy dust-like finish.

Single Vineyard Clare Valley Fiano

This aromatic, medium-bodied wine features zesty lime, fresh rock melon, and green apple flavors. These elements combine seamlessly with natural acidity, leading to a clean and savory finish. Fiano, a grape variety increasingly recognized in Australia, stands out for its compelling texture, varietal expression, and aromatic complexity. Ready to drink now and enjoy with dishes reminiscent of Sicily, such as prawn risotto, fennel and orange salad, or grilled sardines. "Cracking Fiano... terrific drinking." Ken Gargett, Wine Pilot Contemporary and drinkable, Gudilly is sustainably made, and with the next generation in mind. Siblings Angus, Digby and Sally, each share their father Simon Sorby Adams’ passion for quality wines that can also make life fun. Their Gudilly label – a mix up of their names – is a blend of classic and emerging varietal wines made from single vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, Adelaide Plains, Barossa, Clare Valley, Eden Valley and Riverland regions of South Australia.
