Just over 20 years ago, Claymore Wines was humbly established with small volumes of Grenache and Riesling from a single vineyard in Penwortham. Since then, the estate has grown to include additional varietals and 44 hectares across three additional vineyards in Watervale.

There is a youthful restraint to the flavour profile of our One Lovely Day Riesling with promise of even greater things to come. The finish lingers with echoes of grapefruit and sherbet edge wrapped in appealing, gentle texture. Open and lifted, bursting with notes of lemon and lime juice and hints of jasmine; Exquisitely fine natural acid underpins a journey of juicy flavours in the mouth - imagine a burst of vibrant citrus of lemon pulp intensity, all intertwined with unmistakable minerality derived from the chalky soils of Watervale in the region of the Clare Valley.

Glamper lower alcohol Semillon Blend is a refreshing vibrant style with tropical notes and a floral lift. Zesty citrus flavours and a clean lingering finish, are best enjoyed chilled on a summer night’s sky full of stars.

Our winemaking team set themselves a new challenge: to reimagine the variety through the Mr. Mick philosophy. The result is a Pinot Gris made to be generous and easy to enjoy, without compromising the variety’s trademark stone fruit richness with tropical notes. Winemaking Notes Harvested in the cool of the night at the optimum ripeness level, the Pinot Gris grapes from a vineyard in the Wrattonbully region were crushed and pressed off skins with the pressings fraction being kept separated from the free-run juice. A cold and steady fermentation of the juice followed for approximately 2 weeks to maximize the fruity expression of the wine. After stabilisation and filtration to industry standards, the wine was bottled as soon as possible and under screwcap.

Annie's Lane Riesling shows attractive varietal aromas of citrus and floral notes. The palate is crisp and focused, the flavours of lemon butter and honey framed by lingering acidity. Consistently one of the best value Riesling's available.

From the heart of the Mosel valley comes this superb medium dry Riesling. Lifted aromas of fresh cut apples and minerals on the bouquet is followed by pure fruit intensity on the mid-palate and extraordinary length.

Taylors Pinot Gris is a strikingly varietal wine showing notes of baked apple and pear on the nose, with characteristic texture on the palate and soft acidity on the finish. Ideally suited to a whole range of foods, especially flash-barbecued prawns.

This wine from Vickery displays hallmark Watervale aromas showing pure Riesling characteristics of fresh lemon-lime citrus, floral honeysuckle and a creamy richness. The flavours are fresh lemon citrus, with soft mineral acidity supported by the persistent and mouth-watering finish. An absolute delight to drink in its first flush of youth, but will intrigue and reward with additional complexity upon cellaring for 5-20 years.
