In 1847, the people of Krondorf began a wine industry that helped lay the foundation for what the Barossa is today. As custodians of this legacy, their winemakers craft modern expressions of signature Barossa varietals. Look for fresh aromas of raspberry and dark berry, bright and textural redcurrants with a hint of spice. Elegant and refined with subtle oak, a persistent length and a supple tannin finish.

Irvine Estate is home to Barossa vineyards that date back to 1867. The estate is famous for its majestic Merlot but Irvine Estate is sending ripples around the industry with its old-vine Shiraz as well. Lone Palm Vineyard established in 1992, located at South of Marananga, the heart of Barossa Valley. A vineyard of many different sites and a lone palm tree standing next to the settlers cottage built in the late 1800s from where the name originates. Hillside block has opulent sunshine, enough precipitation and rich soil. Using hand pick, high-quality French oak and traditional winemaking to produce dark, fruity, full-bodied premium Shiraz. The 2017 Lone Palm Hillside Shiraz was sourced from one of our best West facing hillside block, located at South of Marananga, the heart of Barossa. The wine was aged in French and American oak for at least 18 months. Dark ruby colored, the nose reveals rich dark fruit, blood plumbs, blackberry, and blueberry with dark chocolate, mineral and licorice. Full-bodied and elegant, the wine offers layers of deep flavors, outstanding depth, and a long, smooth finish. The wine will comfortably cellar for the next 12-15 years.

Elderton is one of Australia's great Shiraz producers, year in and year out. Brimming with ripe juicy blood-plum and chocolate flavours, this is almost like Black Forest cake in a bottle!

The Bishop has the fingerprints of Ben and his father Colin all over it. Ripe, rich, concentrated and supremely complex, the Bishop is the wine for all those full-bodied red fans out there. Ripe liqueur cherries on the nose compete for attention with vanilla, mocha and coffee aromas while the palate is full of sweet berry fruit flavour and a soft, luscious finish that seems to persist for an age. While exuberant and lively when young, the Bishop is known to handle medium term cellaring extremely well and reward any with the patience.

St Hallett's Blackwell is big Shiraz for the lovers of ripe concentrated fruit and a generous measure of vanillin oak. A classic regional style, enjoy this beauty with robust beef or game dishes.

Peter Lehmann was the fifth generation of one of Barossa's pioneering families and is regarded as a legend of Australian wine. The winery is rated as a 5 star winery by James Halliday and the wines consistently demonstrate the diversity of the Barossa Valley region. The 8 Songs Shiraz is deep red in colour with a black core and a bouquet of charcoal chocolate notes with dark plum and mocha, finishing with soft velvety tannins and rich opulent fruit on the palate. Opulent fruit and velvety tannins creates an elegant expression of Barossa Shiraz at its sensuous best.
