With over 200 years of history in every bottle, its no wonder Charles de Cazanoves Head Winemaker, Christophe Rapeneau, was named Sparkling Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine Challenge 2017. We think its great value from one of the largest family owned champagne producers in the world. A nose containing confectionery notes (brioche, cocoa beans, vanilla) with strong hints of pink grapefruit. Superb freshness on the palate, delicious and structured with notes of toasted oak.

Aged for extended time on its yeast lees, it has complex fruit and with ageing is still fresh with strawberries, cherries and Granny Smith apples. This wine is straw yellow in colour with notes of vanilla, butterscotch and honeysuckle on the nose. The palate is crisp with firm acidity. Château de Bligny is a unique Champagne house in that it is the only house to have the 'Château' appellation attributed to it as a boutique style. Built in the heart of the Côte des Bars by the Marquis de Dampierre,Château de Bligny produces a Grande Réserve here of utmost elegance. A non-vintage Champagne and a 50/50 Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend, the Grande Réserve is golden yellow in colour with a mineral bouquet that gives way to a complex rich palate that has extreme length.

The Levantine Hill Cabernet Sauvignon is redolent with blackberry, blackcurrant and cocoa-rich chocolate. The supple, balanced middle palate evokes truffle, bramble and earthy complexity. An outstanding example of the Yarra Valley region, its chewy, satisfying tannins are beautifully-integrated with fleshy fruit characters, hedonic spice and lingering, persistent length.
