The Expression range celebrates the diversity of Tasmania’s wine-growing regions. Our Chardonnay has been crafted with exceptional fruit from the Coal River Valley, on the lower East Coast of Tasmania. It displays a symphony of white peach and citrus blossom, the use of French oak imparts a creamy texture that balances the juicy acid line to still retain remarkable freshness.

The cool slopes of the Tamar Valley region, located in northern Tasmania, have the potential to produce great sparkling wine. This richly flavoured cuvée made from Chardonnay and Pinot noir by Pirie boasts complexity from barrel-aged base wine and reserve blending. It displays the impact of terroir and the favourable interaction of climate and soil on these vines.

This Sparkling rose by Jansz is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Pinot meunier. Intense aromas of Turkish Delights, rosewater and strawberries fill the nose, while the mouth comes alive with luscious layers of Pinot truffles and the creaminess of bright rose and strawberry fruits.

Freycinet Riesling is pale straw in colour with a bouquet of orange blossom and honey that makes for immediate appeal. The palate is tightly structured with long citrus and grapefruit flavours. A real keeper!

Freycinet Chardonnay is a stunning cool-climate example of the varietal. Nutty, toasty barrel ferment aromas are combined with minerally citrus characters and the palate is wonderfully multi layered in flavour underpinned by laser sharp acidity.

Devil's Corner Chardonnay shows some up-front ripe stone fruit, citrus characters and hint of subtle spiciness. It shows excellent flavour intensity with great persistence and a refreshing finish.

A standout new sparkling from Frogmore with aromas of toasty brioche and delicate citrus. Full and crisp flavours of apples and strawberries linger on the refined acid structure. Golden Chardonnay fruit from the Louis vineyard is cool fermented in tanks followed by extended lees contact prior to bottling. By not utilising the Burgundy technique of fermentation in oak casks this wine highlights the pure Chardonnay aromas and flavours of stone, citrus and melon fruits. The mouth-filling, smooth, fruit-salad flavours are harmoniously balanced by a refreshing crisp long finish.
