Very small quantities of this wine made unfortunately. The wine is tight and intense which will ensure it ages well, some citrus to compliment the stone fruit and fine oak. Finishing with beautiful length and natural acid.

Robert Bowen doesnt mind putting his own name to his chardonnay and its no surprise when its as good as this. Rob has been crafting chardonnay in Western Australia since 1981 and boy does it show! He lets the vineyards tell their own tales by harnessing what nature provides, protecting the fruit and the flavours of the grapes to produce the best wine possible from any site. Working with viticulturist and biodynamic enthusiast, Mike Saggers, the attention to detail is stunning and so is the chardonnay, with just the right balance of French oak. The wines of Fraser Gallop Estate are intensely flavoured, textured and complex. Only the finest quality French oak barrels are used for all Fraser Gallop Estate wines, with very specific Bordelais coopers used for the Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blends, and Burgundian coopers for the Chardonnay. A fine and quite flinty modern expression of Margaret River Chardonnay. Finer and leaner it might be in some ways, but the unmistakable power and persistence of the region still triumphs. Complex mealy grapefruit and roasted nut characters on the nose, and a deep and richly intense palate power through to the finish.

Hand Picked Gin Gin clone, the balance of fruit, oak, acidity is so immaculate it is a pointless exercise to try to deconstruct their contributions. However the white peach and pink grapefruit flavours are as clear as a bell on the back palate and aftertaste, the finish fresh and clean. Masterful winemaking
