Sam Wigan started out in the wine industry by working a vintage with his father at Peter Lehmann wines before heading to Geyser Peak in California. Returning to Australia with the winemaking bug, Sams style involves letting the varietal characteristics of the grapes shine through, by using natural/wild fermentation and malolactic fermentation, with minimal additions and no finings. Spinifex Esprit is a Grenache Mataro blend that has a vibrant, youthful and fresh palate driven by a tangy herb infused line of red fruit red currant, sour red plum, pomegranate and marjoram that gains warmth and depth turning to tobacco, game, cedar and darker fruit to close. Pulpy, fleshy fruit is drawn long with plum skin acids and stony tannins.

St Hallett Faith Shiraz is one of the all time customer favourites at Dan Murphy's Ripe flavoursome concentrated Shiraz from the Barossa Valley with great mouthfeel and length of flavour with fine soft tannins. Drinks nicely now and will age well in the medium term.

Chris Ringland Shiraz has been one of Australia's most loved wines over the past few years with its immense concentration of bold, forboding fruit.
