This wine is made from vineyards in the Parkburn area of Cromwell. All the grapes are hand harvested and fermented in small lots in stainless steel tanks helping to retain fruit purity and finesse. The wine is full, dry and textural, it displays excellent fruit structure, intensity and mineral length.

This wine is made from grapes grown in vineyards in different sub-regions of Central Otago. It captures the character of each vineyard giving us bright, fresh sweet fruit with savory and herbal tones and good texture and mineral length.

Notes of dark cherry, violets and spice dominate the nose. Palate: The palate is full and structured, yet elegant with flavors of luscious dark cherry balanced with a fine mineral acidity. This wine matches beautifully with red meat dishes, including venison and lamb. Drink now or cellar 3-5 years. This wine is suitable for vegetarians and gluten free diets.

Garnet in colour, the wine displays aromas of cherry cola, violets, star anise and pink peppercorns. The palate has black forest chocolate notes, tobacco leaf, Danish liquorice and spice. Berry fruit flavours are supported by grainy tannins and a juicy finish.

Deep bright ruby red in colour, Devil's Staircase Pinot Noir is a dizzying fusion of firm fruit, tempting spices and alluring earthen notes. Each drop of this wine is bursting with flavours of black Doris plums, blueberries and bramble fruit that leave one wanting for more. It is characterized as a fruity, rich and full wine with finely balanced acid and firm tannins. The supple richness of Rockburn Devils Staircase Pinot Noir complements a range of savoury dishes. It can be tried alongside game birds such as quail, turkey and duck, or with a fillet of New Zealand salmon.
