Kir Yianni Paranga White PGI
The Kir Yianni Paranga White is a blend of Roditis and Malagousia grapes, offering a delightful and refreshing experience. Fresh aromas of green fruit and citrus from Roditis, combined with stone fruit (mainly peach) and floral notes from Malagousia. Medium-bodied with a fruity and crisp mouthfeel, leading to a refreshing finish. Intense but refined Muscat aromas of jasmine, white peach, and apricot. Known for its sun-soaked Mediterranean islands, Greece is also home to wet, mountainous pine forests and that makes for a diverse and exciting wine scene. In 1970, winemaker Yiannis Boutaris planted 40 hectares of vines near the town of Naoussa in Macedonia in the country’s cool northwest. This parcel of land became known as Kir-Yianni (Mr John) sometimes called the Barolo of Greece.
