The Bare Touch wines are made by Cowpunk winemaker Aaron Mercer using early picked grapes, free run juice and a 'hands off' non intervention approach. The grapes are naturally lower in alcohol and with far less skin contact than a traditional red wine, the free run juice is bright and vibrant with significantly lower tannins. A wine with the pizzazz of a unicorn, but the serious expression of a rhino it will charge the palate with a surprising blend of red berry and plum with subtle oak tannin, dazzling not just to the eye but to every sense.

A brooding dark red in colour with ruby hues. The nose is alive with fresh, vibrant aromas, layered with punchy pepper and spice, and hints of ripe blackberries.

In the North Western section of the Barossa Valley, the red clay loam over marl (a friable earthly deposit consisting of clay and limestone) produces the highest quality red wines. These soils provide the perfect balance of nutrient availability and vine stress, producing wines with saturated colour and fruit intensity.

Penfolds St Henri is one of Australia's greatest red wines. The Shiraz for St Henri is selected for subtlety and elegance and the finished wine has the structure complexity for extended bottle maturation. The 1991 is a classic St Henri vintage that is good to drink until 2022.

Ripe red fruit on the nose with spice and rich berry fruit flavours on the palate.

Crimson with violet hues. Spiced plums and peppercorns with fruit cake and forest floor aromas. The palate is a mix of violets and spice with hints of dutch licorice and lingering plum and cherry flavours. This is a fruit driven, medium bodied wine with soft, silky tannins and a savoury, persistent finish.

This medium bodied wine has ripe, juicy, raspberry and red berry fruit flavours with a hint of pepper and spice with sleek tannins, giving it a smooth finish with good length.
