A dark crimson red with good depth. Lovely aromas of dark plums and red berry fruits, complexed by a hint of smokiness. The delicious fresh berry fruit flavours are balanced by the drying tannins, a hallmark of this variety. There's an attractive smoky plum fruit character and the long dry finish gives a good length of flavour.

Light straw green. A great expression of Sauvignon Blanc, with white flowers notes and tropical fruit aromas. A marvellous amalgam of pomelo, guava, cumquat with great minerality on the finish. Modern white wine making techniques were used with temperature control critical from the vineyard through to the winery. The fruit was destemmed and crushed then must chilled and pressed off the skins quickly. It was allowed to settle for 72 hours before being racked in a clarified state to a fermentation tank. Each variety was kept separately with the idea to maximise it s potential prior to blending. It has a lovely bouquet of dark berries and mocha with a soft fruit-driven palate of red currants and plums. The palate is soft, juicy and lingering. A number of parcels are sourced for this blend, once the grapes have reached optimal ripeness the fruit is harvested during the cool of night for delivery to the winery. The fruit is destemmed and sent to static fermenters for a long cool fermentation. Once pressed off skins the wine is pressed off to oak barrels for 9 months maturation of 9.
