Happs Preservative Free Red offers up a Margaret River excellence that doesn't disappoint. A mix with Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Merlot and Grenache all combined. This is lifted with red fruits including cherry, strawberry and dark fruits as well as some charry oak. The palate is youthful and fresh with some savoury characters as well as intense berry fruit that dares you to have another glass.

This Cabernet Merlot exhibits ripe cassis, dark chocolate and licorice aromas. High notes of cedary oak and bay leaf add further complexity. The palate unfolds in a myriad of layers of ripe blackcurrant and red fruit interwoven with savoury oak. The long and flavoursome finish is well supported by dry and fine grained tannins.

The ripe grapes used to produce Credaro 5 Tales Shiraz were destemmed, moved to static tanks, and immediately inoculated with a yeast strain. The resulting wine shows a lively crimson red colour, and exudes lifted aromas of mulberries, sweet vanilla and mocha hints from its mesmerising nose. Showing the palest pink colour with a clear hue, West Cape Howe Cape To Cape Moscato is an intensely aromatic wine. The bouquet exhibits Muscat characters of rose blossom, along with musk, candied citrus and sweet spice. The palate has a light and refreshing base of sweet citrus notes, with hints of passionfruit and guava. The lingering and zesty finish is balanced by natural sugars and crisp acidity. Enjoyed while young, the wine tastes best when paired with wild strawberries, cheeses and rose macarons.

The wine displays fresh green tinges to a very pale straw colour. Typical cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon aromas of lively tropical fruits and fresh herbaceous grassy characters make up an intense bouquet. The palate is fresh and lively with classic Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon characters and a fine structure that are an indication both of the quality of the vintage and the use of only free-run juice. The Hay Shed Hill vineyard is situated on a picturesque property that was established as a group settlement farm for returned soldiers from the First World War. Known as Sussex Vale the property was originally a dairy farm. The current homestead, considerably renovated, still has much of the original Group Settlement look and feel. Vines were first planted in the early 1970s. In the late 1980s the vineyard was bought by the Morrison Family and the wine brand Hay Shed Hill was established taking its name from the local reference to the hay shed located on the property. The sister label, Pitchfork, was developed to complement the single vineyard Hay Shed Hill label. A series of ownership changes saw numerous alterations to labels, wine style and distribution until the current group of partners bought back the farm and the brand in late 2006 and returned to the original concept of producing wine with integrity that expresses the quality of the site.

An authentic style of Tempranillo with well resolved tannins and great length of flavour. Some new American oak maturation has imparted a rich toasty vanillin oak note to balance the spicy cherry fruit and earthy flavours of the variety.

The generous palate is packed full of juicy fruits of the forest, cassis and chocolate characters. Medium to full-bodied, the fleshy fruits are supported by moreish, supple and ripe tannins. A balanced wine, with a persistent fruit finish with beautiful regional savoury inflections of bay, black olive and liquorice.
