Crafted exclusively from Estate grown fruit, Taltarni Cabernet Sauvignon honours the winerys international reputation for making superb red wines. Taltarnis great legacy is deeply rooted in the unique combination of low yielding gravelly loam soils of its vineyards and the temperate climate of the Pyrenees, producing wines hallmarked by distinctive regional characteristics of mint, pepper and spice. A dark purple colour, the wine displays blackberry and blackcurrant flavours balanced with nice toasty characters provided by the French oak. On the palate, the tannins offer a nice structure where the fruit carries the flavours for quite a long time.

The 2017 Moonambel Shiraz is eminently balanced and refined on the nose, with blood, minerals and flowers in equal measure. This is super composed, balanced and, as far as wine drinking pleasure goes, a triumph. There are notes of cardamom pod, sandalwood, scraped vanilla pod, pomegranate molasses, crushed rocks and kicked earth, and the layers of flavor are defined by very fine, ductile, tannic texture and support. Deep dark purple. Intense aromas of fresh black and red berries with delicate touches of cinnamon and nutmeg spice. Mesa Shiraz is an elegant yet rewarding cool-climate wine. It exhibits a beautifully ripe core of dark fruits, lifted by complex notes of cinnamon and star anise. Powder fine tannins and subtle French oak complete this regional classic.

Round yet fine and detailed, this medium bodied wine is brimming with lovely fruit density. Notes of red current, cassis, black cherry, and plum lead the charge, supported by secondary notes of bay leaf, graphite, wet clay and chocolate. Starting early, tannins are savoury in nature and run long through the palate complimented by lovely accents of ash and coal dust. Dense and chewy through to the finish, this wine has excellent length.

The 2008 marks the 25th anniversary of Dalwhinnie Chardonnay in the Pyrenees in western Victoria, and the wine is still not missing a beat. With less oak used now than in previous vintages, the wine exhibits magnificent citrus and mineral flavours and aromas with a delicate honey flavour notes and texture. A truly elegant wine.

Dark fruits and licorice intermingled with forest undergrowth notes precede a long lasting, fine tannin Rosemary flavoured finish. The medium weight but firm structure and vibrancy of this wine ensure it has many possible food matches.

This wine presents a deep garnet hue. Fragrances of cranberry, red currant, cassis and herbs leap out of the wine glass. The palate shows classic Cabernet elements. Ripe flavours of cherry, cranberry and cassis integrate with vanilla oak and cedar. Balanced by firm tannins, the wine leads to a persistent and mouth filling finale. This wine can be cellared for a period of 6 to 8 years.
