2023 was a cool vintage that produced exceptional wines across all varieties. Despite the delayed harvest caused by the cooler growing season, we were fortunate to have a mild summer with just a few hot days that allowed our fruit to mature gradually. Consequently, our wines boast complex and elegant flavours, fine tannins, and beautiful natural acidity.

Coldstream Hills was established in 1985 by James and Suzanne Halliday and has always produced a benchmark cool-climate Pinot Noir. This beautifully textured wine boasts rich flavours of dark cherries, pepper and foresty notes, with a long and toasty finish.

Yering Station Yarra Pinot Noir is a classic Pinot Noir with red/black cherry complimented with brooding earthy undertones and subtle savoury spice on the nose. The palate hints of violets and lavender. Rich black cherry spice surrounded by vanillin oak. Lovely middle palate concentration supported by fine velvet like tannins.

From Victoria's first vineyard comes Little Yering, a bright, youthful and delicious Pinot Noir from Victoria's home for the variety, the Yarra Valley. Sourced from vineyards in the upper Yarra and the valley floor itself to provide a perfect balance between lifted aromas and notes of savouriness along with lush, rich and mouth-filling juice from the flats.

The Yarra Valley is renowned for its excellence in Pinot Noir and this expression is no exception. In the glass: Medium garnet red. On the nose: Ripe dark berry fruit. On the palate: Bold, quite powerul red plum and raspberry fruit with some background stalky, herbal elements. Firm and dry yet flavoursome and varietal.

Light and aromatic with an appealing understated palate displaying some nice cherry and raspberry flavours. Good flavour with a fine, almost soft, acid and a crisp dry finish. This wine is as bright as a button, it bursts with energy from the rich fruit that as been created in the purest way possible, from vineyard to the bottle. It has great aromatics. The savoury style of the wine is supported with flavours of spices, bright berries and red plums and a touch of new oak. A very quaffable for the price.
