Ten Minutes by Tractor have access to some of the Mornington Peninsula's very best single vineyard sites. The Wallis Vineyard produces a Chardonnay of uptmost power and elegance here. Some delicious texture and weight are great features of this wine where fresh citrus provides contrast on the palate and some nice oak provides the structure.

Ten Minutes By Tractor was the result of a the coming together of a series of journeys that began about 30 years ago. Centred around 3 vineyards that are approximately 10 minutes by tractor apart, the winery is now synonymous with terroir driven wines perfectly suited to Mornington Peninsula. Their estate Chardonnay is a wonderful modern interpretation of the variety with layers of complexity and fruit weight balanced by the ever present acid line that runs through the core of this fantastic wine.

The fruit for this Onannon Mornington Pinot Gris was handpicked and pressed immediately into the tank. It is then settled overnight and racked to both tank and old barrels. A cool fermentation took place over two months during which the wine was stirred regularly to increase texture. Resulting in wine with great aromas such as ripe pears, mixed stone fruits with hints of cooked green apple in the background. It then leads to a full flavoured, textured palate with a delightful finish.

Yabby Lake Chardonnay has a lifted and fine nose, which is complex and beguiling. The palate is fine and tightly wound together with a precise mineral intensity. Great length and poise, the wine finishes with great purity. Stored carefully this wine will age gracefully for at least eight years. Paringa Estate Peninsula Chardonnay Mornington Peninsula The Paringa wines in the Peninsula range are an haut Mornington Peninsulathe emphasis being on the liveliness of the fruit. 'The quality of these wines are often equal to many other vineyards best'- James Halliday The handpicked fruit is whole bunch pressed and the unclarified juice is then barrel fermented. Expect a lifted yet restrained & complex nose with red fruits, smoke, bacon & thyme notes leading to an intense, deep palate with a core of silky Pinot fruit framed by fine, powdery tannins. A serious Pinot that is delicious now but that will equally benefit from a few years in the cellar.
