This wine is pale yellow in colour with a light green hue. This is an off-dry style wine, giving off initial aromas of lime, tangy lemon verbena, nectarine and apple lemon, coupled with traces of musk and roses. Mount Horrocks Watervale Riesling is a classic white wine produced using the highest quality Riesling fruit, which has been admired and recognized not only in Australia, but by wine aficionados all over the world. It is pale and bright, with a pleasantly fragrant bouquet of floral honeysuckle intertwined with lemon aromas that leap from each glass. Every sip reminds you of the brightness and joy of spring as the wine is refreshing and bright with crispy lemon and lime flavours. Elegantly stunning, it has a long and dry finish. The development of this wine was an integral part of a winemakers 9-year, but ultimately unsuccessful, battle with bowel cancer. The first wine under this label was a Riesling and to this day, part of the proceeds from the sale of each bottle to fund his sons education.
