The story of Sol goes back to 1899, when on a sunny morning in Mexico, a brew master was working away. The early morning sun crept over his brew pot, caught in the majesty of the moment he was inspired to name his brew 'El Sol' - the sun in Mexican. Since that day Sol has been a beer for the working class, a beer of the people.

The unique Stella Artois yeast strain (the very same yeast strain first used by the Artois brewmasters) adds a light to moderate fruity, cooked pineapple aroma and creates a clean, crisp medium bodied flavour with hints of cooked vegetable. The Saaz hop also produces a unique bitterness which is well balanced with the malted barley, giving Stella Artois a subtle but pleasant grainy, sweet finish.

It has a mild hoppy taste with a subtle sweet flavour. Unlike a lot of reduced alcohol beers it maintains a solid body and texture. It is an excellent beer for those long lunches.

Loads of piney, citrus and stone fruit notes from the use of all American hops for a nice lean west coast IPA. The Grifter Brewing Co is all about "good and honest beer", which made it no surprise when it won our Brewery of the Year award at our Best Of Awards 2022. This independent beer brand, from Sydney's hip inner west, is a hotbed of creativity. G.O.A.T. was first brewed as a small batch, specifically for the 2018 AIBA Awards. Brewed with high expectations & named accordingly, the beer took out a Gold Medal and became a favourite among Black Hops drinkers. Sapporo Premium Beer was originally brewed in 1876 by Japanese brewmaster Seibei Nakagawa. Trained in Germany, Seibei had a true passion for his craft. With authentic brewing techniques and quality local ingredients, he developed a perfectly balanced golden lager. As a former frontier town, the northern city of Sapporo thus became the home of Japan's oldest brewery. The iconic gold star reflects the pioneering spirit of Sapporo and its famous brewer. Sapporo Premium Beer is brewed with the Japanese attention to detail. The slow cool fermentation balances delicate hops and esters with a full malt character. The authentic brewing techniques and quality ingredients used have produced a crisp and refreshing lager beer.

The Bullnose Syrah from Te Mata is one of New Zealand's original Syrah wines, having been made since 1992. Vineyard partners, Michael Morris and Peter Cowley - both car enthusiasts - named the wine after the pre-1928 Morris Cowley car, nicknamed Bullnose due to its distinctive radiator. The Bullnose is a single vineyard wine from Hawke's Bay that shows characters that are aromatic, savoury, and elegant. It's an expression of syrah which, when well stored, develops and intensifies in bottle with medium term cellaring.
