Dortmunder Actien Brauerei is a German brewery in the city of Dortmund, founded in 1868 by the businessmen Laurenz Fischer and Heinrich and Friedrich Mauritz together with master brewer Heinrich Herberz.

The brewing process makes Kölsch something of a cross between ale and lager and results in a wonderfully lemony, easy drinking beer. The soft, delicate hoppiness balances the fruity maltiness well and leads up to a clean, dry and fresh finish with just a hint of grapefruit - delicious.
