Subtle, latent and powerful, with ripe grapefruit, and grilled hazelnuts, very good depth of fruit, superb winemaking and gorgeous oak. Long and complex.

From a single block on our family owned vineyard based in the cool Great Southern, our flagship Ferngrove Cossack Riesling exudes fresh cut lime, pink grapefruit and zesty lemon with a long lasting minerality. Native to Australia's South West, the Cossack Spider-orchid is the common name for the endangered flora adorning the label.

Enriched with layers of nougat and nut-meal, the palate's fine, creamy texture is supported by toasted vanillin oak. A bright citrus and chalky lactic acidity adds restraint and length to finish the wine.
