From the Singlefile vineyard in the Denmark sub-region on the Great Southern, this is a modern styled. lightly oaked chardonnay showing grapefruit and white peach aromas and sublte oak. The palate displays citrus and stone fruit with a soft creamy finish.

The bouquet is an enticing mix of white field flowers, grapefruit, pear essence and brioche. Enriched with layers of nougat and nut-meal, the palate's fine, creamy texture is supported by toasted vanillin oak. A bright citrus and chalky lactic acidity adds restraint and length to finish the wine. 'This latest release from the partnership of Jeff Burch and Burgundian winemaker Pasca Marchand is one of the best. Comes off a high point in the Porongurups, with the fruit being naturally fermented and then given 10 months on yeast lees to gather complexity. In the glass: Bright straw with a green hue. On the nose: Mix of delicate white and green fruits, and touches of guava and gooseberry. On the palate: Full flavoured with white and green melon with juicy and soft acidity. A great all rounder.

A well-balanced wine by Rosabrook Estate. The primary stone fruits mixed with minerality and subtle oak on the palate. It is fruity and elegant. A beautifully made wine for those seafood dishes.

Very bright and clear with a light hint of green/gold colour. Super fresh and pungent with light tropical fruit characters of passionfruit, kiwifruit and ripe pear. Quite fresh and zesty! The light tropical fruit flavours are well tempered by the tangy acidity. It has a nice weight on the palate and considerable length of flavour; the delicious crisp acidity contributing to its long clean finish. A fruity, crisp dry wine that can be enjoyed as an aperitif or serve well chilled with just about anything.

They had a strong belief in the unique and expressive terroir of the Margaret River region, and it was this belief that carried them on their journey to create Stella Bella Wines. Back in 1996, Stuart and Janice took over the 'Suckfizzle' Vineyard, believing that its distinctive location would produce unique wines. They weren't wrong, and in 1998 the first vintage of Suckfizzle Sauvignon Blanc Semillon was released. The Stella Bella name was launched in the following yers, as their portfolio of wines grew. They added an estate range, an entry-level range under the label Skuttlebutt, and a premium range labelled, Serie Luminosa. In 2013, Stuart handed over the reins as Chief Winemaker to Luke Joliffe. Today, the Stella Bella team work with a variety of vineyards dotted throughout the Margaret River - Darch, Isca, Forest Grove, Karridale and, of course, Suckfizzle. Each site encapsulates a different aspect and terroir of the Margaret River, allowing Luke and his team to create harmonious blends across different vineyards, or to isolate single vineyard expressions and showcase the individual vineyard characteristics.

The 2022 vintage of Castelli iL Liris Chardonnay from Great Southern is a true representation of the region's terroir.
