Yalumba Y Series Pinot Grigio

A relative newcomer on the Australian wine scene, Pinot Grigio offers a real alternative to the more traditional white varieties. Yalumba provide an exellent example here with a spicy, flavoursome, textured and a great food match styled wine.

Yalumba Y Series Chardonnay

This wine opens with aromas of honeysuckle and tropical fruits such as paw paw. There is a touch of complexity from the wild fermentation, just enough to let you know that under the pretty facade is a fun and adventurous wine. The palate is an alluring combination of fresh fruits, spices such as white pepper and just enough wildness to keep you coming back for another glass. It finishes with a fresh cleansing line of citrus zest.

Tempus Two Sparkling Rosé

Made from predominately Chardonnay grapes with a touch of Pinot Noir to add colour and fresh berry flavours, this is a vibrant sparkling wine to perfectly complement any celebration. A zesty and refreshing sparkling wine. Vibrant fruit flavours of strawberries and cherries provide a fruit sweetness which is well balanced by a refreshing green apple and citrus finish. A soft fine bubble completes the wine.

Tatachilla White Admiral Pinot Grigio

This Pinot Grigio is delicate, light and fresh. Displaying refreshing pear and citrus notes with hints of spice and a crisp crunchy finish.

Farm Hand Merlot

This is a medium bodied wine with typical black and red berry fruit flavour, subtle cigar box and light vanilla. The wine is soft and carries long delivering a very satisfying array of flavours that will marry perfectly with many red meat dishes.

McGuigan Zero Sauvignon Blanc

The varieties include shiraz, sparkling, rosé, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc and are now available at your local first Choice Liquor Market store. The wines were created to maintain strong varietal characteristic, it added, containing no artificial sweeteners or additives.

Cat Amongst The Pigeons Jazz Cat Moscato

The Cat Amongst the Pigeons story is a recipe of vision, courage and the unordinary. A wine range that exists to do things differently, walking a few steps ahead and unafraid to ruffle a few feathers along the way. This Moscato boasts fruity aromas of rose petal and tropical fruits with a balanced fruity palate of pear, apple and citrus.

Ninth Island Riesling

Aroma: Lemon blossom, apple, mandarin, wildflowers and stonefruit with hints of musk and mineral. Palate: Refreshing flavours of lime and fresh juicy citrus with limestone minerality and a clean crisp finish. Seamless balance, mouth-watering tension and lasting concentration. Cold harvested at night. Following a brief period of skin contact the grapes are carefully pressed using fully protective handling to avoid juice oxidation. This preserves naturally vibrant varietal aromas and flavours. Juice is racked off solids and fermented slowly at cool temperatures in stainless steel to enhance freshness. Bottled under screw cap. Ninth Island is one of the labels of the Kreglinger group. Krelinger is a Belgium based company that was formed as a family business in 1797, their business brought them to Australia in 1897 but it was not until the year 2000 that they diversified into wine. Ninth Island represents the second label of the Pipers Brook vineyards, based in Tasmania. The name refers to a tiny island that sits alone in the Bass Strait, just offshore from the Pipers Brook Estate. The Ninth Island vineyard can be found on the banks of the Tamar. The site is comparatively warm and perfect for the production of table wine styles such as Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. They are predominantly made as early drinking styles, with all the fruit sourced from Tamar valley. The Ninth Island's windswept, pristine environment is the inspiration behind this modern range of wines that capture the wild flavours of Tasmania.

Mojo in Full Colour Pinot Grigio

Gorgeously aromatic - think honeysuckle blossom, fennel and freshly cut pear. On the palate, mouth filling honeyed spiced poached pears & granny smith apple skin, balanced with brilliant crisp acidity. It has great length and a vibrant minerality with a subtle grapefruit tang. Vibrant, floral, citrus. As a stand alone, Pinot Grigio is always a great appertif. But you can never go wrong pairing with fish or shellfish - think seafood risotto or even sashimi. South Australia's first vineyards were established in the 1830's. Enjoying a wide range of climates including the cool temperatures of the Adelaide Hills, to the hot summer weather of the Barossa Valley, South Australia is arguably Australia's most diverse wine producing state. It is from these wonderfully diverse regions that winemaker Marty O'Flaherty selects the best varietals to produce Mojo wines. Marty's resounding philosophy is "wine should tell a story about the terroir in which it's grown, needing lots of love but minimal handling by allowing the growers to do what they do best."
