Durif achieves cult-like status among those who enjoy its dense concentrated charm. Intense aromas of dark berry fruits and liquorice notes are perfectly married with a rich and ripe palate.

Aroma: Aromas of raspberry and fruits of the forest, hints of milk chocolate and blackcurrant coulee, with undertones of oak characters of pinewood. This Durif is inky mahogany in colour with garnet and purple tints. It has aromas of violets, raspberries and blackberries, stewed plums, cherry rhubarb, white pepper, spice and a hint of mint. The palate is rich and very full, with mouth-filling texture of fine vanillin oak and powdery chocolate tannins. The flavours are well balanced with crushed berries, cherries, chocolate, liquorice and spice, mint and jube and a fresh acidity.
