This new release from Little Giant is an absolute cracker! Sourced from dry grown vineyards across South Australia, this is a classic looking Malbec with a deep crimson colour in the glass. The family Grenache block on Thiele Road in Bethany are one of the old vines planted in the 40's and still producing fantastic fruit today. Schwarz has dark inky purple colour with a great aromas of sour cherry, ripe dark fruits and a hint of fresh raspberry on the nose. Although not fruit driven, the red fruits characters are lifted with some earthy oak undertone on the palate. Hint of fresh spices with some subtle tannin towards a rather long finish.
