Nestled in the Clare Valley’s Stanley Flat region, is Calcannia. It’s moderate-continental climate enjoys cool nights and long warm summer days, retaining crisp acidity, balance and structure in our wines.<br>This wine opens with expressive aromas of mulberries, wild berries, and strawberries, delicately layered with hints of white spice and white pepper. The palate reveals ripe black cherries and wild strawberries, enriched by subtle notes of fresh leather and cigar box. Balanced acidity and silky tannins create a smooth, refined texture, delivering an elegant and approachable drinking experience.

First made back in 1997 and still definitely one of the sentimental favourites in the Kilikanoon portfolio, the Prodigal continues to set the standard for Clare Valley old-vine Grenache. Each fruit parcel was harvested and kept separate throughout the winemaking process until final assemblage. A fresh and lively palate, yet dark and brooding at the same time, the combination of ripe cherries, dark chocolate, kitchen spices and kirsch perfectly in sync with the fine chalky tannins and oak influences rounding out to a long flavoursome finish.

Sourced from three vineyards at Leasingham in the Clare Valley this wine is a unique blend of three varieties originating from Spain - Tempranillo, Mourvedre and Grenache. That is why we call it 'The Spaniard'.

Taylors Jaraman Shiraz continues the long tradition of producing flavour rich red wines from premium vineyards across South Australia. This Shiraz is sourced from the Clare Valley and McLaren Vale regions and brings a little bit from both worlds with rich, foreboding fruit from McLaren working in harmony with the aromatic and textured Clare Valley fruit. Delicious today, yet will cellar nicely for the medium term.

The Knappstein Malbec showcases vibrant varietal aromas of dark plum and raspberry with a dose of fresh cherry. Generous, yet delicate tannins provide the wine with body, enhanced with subtle oak. Fruit is complimented with sweet cinnamon and spice characters, framing the wine for a long finish.

This full-bodied Malbec has a bouquet of black ripe fruits, blackcurrant, juniper, blueberry, pepper and cassis complemented with hints of toasted almond and cigar box from French oak. The balanced palate with ripe oak tannins delivers dark chocolate, mint, black currants and cassis. Enjoy now or will reward with cellaring.

Knappstein Shiraz displays rich, ripe, plum and berry flavours with fine velvety tannins. Medium term cellaring will be rewarded.
