With a family history in the Barossa Valley dating back to 1888, Glaetzer Wines was established by Colin Glaetzer after 30 years of winemaking experience. Son Ben worked in the Hunter Valley and as a Flying Winemaker in many of the worlds wine regions before returning to Glaetzer Wines and assuming the winemaking role. The wines are made with great skill and abundant personality.

St Hallett Faith Shiraz is one of the all time customer favourites at Dan Murphy's Ripe flavoursome concentrated Shiraz from the Barossa Valley with great mouthfeel and length of flavour with fine soft tannins. Drinks nicely now and will age well in the medium term.

Double Barrel Shiraz has a full and generous palate with a beguiling mix of sweet red fruits and dark chocolate indicative of its origins as Barossa Shiraz. Subtle toasty vanillin derives from aging in traditional French and American oak wine barrels. The careful use of aged Scotch whisky barrels for finishing has added complex nuances of almond-husks and also softened the dense tannins to yield an incredible smoothness.

From vines over or approaching 100 years old, this was open - fermented with wild yeast, then spent 18 months in some new, mainly old, French oak barriques. Concentration shows in the colour and aroma of this shiraz, as well as the powerful, full-bodied palate, which shows guts and grip, if not great elegance. Dense chocolate and blackberry aromas are a feauture of this beautiful wine.

Chris Ringland Sealed Shiraz gives rich and intense flavours which resolve into jammy black fruits. It give a deep red-black colour with aromas of plum jam, milk chocolate and sweet vanilla ice cream infused custard cream.
