The Artwork for this limited bottling of 23rd Street Distillery Yuzu Gin was created by local Artist Claire Ishino (SA), the inspiration is Japanese sunsets blending with our Australian climate and of course the Riverland Yuzu fruit. In our Copper Pot No. 3, we vapour-infuse pure Australian sugarcane base with a quadruple burst of citrus and refreshing spice mélange. Fruit is gathered from a single Riverland orchard. Highly fragrant Yuzu and Buddha's Hand fruit are incorporated whole, and from Cara Cara and Blood Oranges we use the hand-peeled rind. Juniper, Chamomile and Coriander plus Australian natives Cinnamon Myrtle, Pink Peppercorn and Strawberry Gum complete the assembly of aromatics. A sense-awakening postcard from today's Riverland. Traditional citrus and botanicals are brightened and heightened by native spices and elegantly perfumed Yuzu and Buddha's Hand. Opulent soft floral citrus aromas set the scene. In 1865, inspired by a decorative handle of his offi ce window, Maurice Hennessy created the now-famous star symbol that he would use to classify his Cognacs. Thus was born the 3- Star Cognac, better known today as Hennessy VS which is a complex blend of more than forty eaux-de-vie (brandy parcels) from the four premier growing areas of the Cognac region.

True to its name our mouth-watering Zesty Limoncello combines a traditional family recipe passed down through generations from the Amalfi coast with some of our favourite foraged Australian botanicals to leave your mouth perfumed with a zesty sherbet finish. Only using carefully selected thick perfumed lemons grown at an orchard on the central coast, north of Sydney, we hand peel them, being most particular to avoid the bitter pith. Infusion of the peel into the smooth grain spirit cannot be rushed. After a month the citrus oils combine with the native botanical distillates of Lemon Aspen and Lemon Myrtle to give birth to a flavour-blend of bitter-sweet grapefruit and lime with a hint of honey and eucalyptus.
