Four Pillars Gin worked with the QANTAS Rockpool mixology team to create the second release in their Bartender Series - an Asian-inspired Modern Australian gin with softness and spice, one that is truly a spirit of Australia. Created to capture as purely as possible the essence of the Australian summer garden, this is the original Garden Grown Gin by Grown Spirits. The French perfumers' time-honoured technique of enfleurage is used to extract the delicate scent and flavour from the hero botanical Murraya. Tanglin Orchid Gin 42% 700 mlSingapores First Award Winning Gin DistilleryAfter more than a year of testing different botanical combinations comes the introduction of Tanglin Gin.We like to call this is an old-world modern gin. The pine of the Juniper is unmistakably there and the herbaceous flavour notes come from classic gin botanicals. But the twist comes from Indian Amchoor the powdered form of green unripe mango which adds an extra citrus note. And then come to our not so secret ingredient (the clue is in the name, Orchid Gin). But its not used in the way you might think; we use two forms of orchid. Firstly, Dendrobium nobile Lindl which is Shi Hu in Pinyin. The botanical is added in a powdered form of the dried stalk, mirroring its prominent use in Chinese Medicine where it was first described in Shen Nongs Herbal Classics written about 2500 years ago. This is Australia's first premium Absinthe - Multiple distilled spirit with added Australian Botanical infusions. It presents with a mix of Aniseed and Lemon Myrtle, China Aniseed, Elderflower, Gentian, Fennel seed, Hyssop and of course the infamous Wormwood.Absinthe is traditionally drunk diluted, and there is no more lavish and beautiful way to dilute the drink than with an Absinthe fountain. Place the spoon over a filled glass of absinthe with the sugar cube on it and sit it underneath one of the taps on the fountain. Slowly drip water over the sugar until it has dissolved.
