Founded by James Halliday, Yarra Valley's Coldstream Hills winery has a reputation for producing quality wine. The Pinot Gris displays gentle white flower perfume, almonds and white fleshed fruit. The palate is subtle, but plenty enough flavour, glossy lightly powdery texture, some crunch of green pear on a long finish. Beautifully turned out.

Latin America has been known to produce some fiery temperaments, but theres something really cool coming out of Argentina - Malbec is what were getting into right now. Malbec is well suited to Australian tastes, it loves a steak, and offers big, bold vibrant notes. We think this is one Latin American youll get along with famously.
