Hints of forest floor brambles and dark cherry compote combine with spiced note of French Oak on the aroma to produce a layer and complex aroma. On the palate a richness of flavour continues from the aroma, with the addition of supporting tannin and juicy acidity finishing with a long persistent length of flavour. Perfect to drink now but capable of developing even more complexity within bottle in the medium term. A Central Otago Pinot with earthiness and depth to wallow in. The pristine cool-climate along with long sun drenched days allowed the fruit to ripen magnificently and produce aromas of deep red cherry, blackberry and cocoa. In the mouth the Squealing Pig is rich and generous with velvet like tannins and a wonderful, long finish.

Lifted notes of raspberry, strawberry and red cherry are complemented by subtle savoury notes. Garnet in colour, the wine displays aromas of cherry cola, violets, star anise and pink peppercorns. The palate has black forest chocolate notes, tobacco leaf, Danish liquorice and spice. Berry fruit flavours are supported by grainy tannins and a juicy finish.
