Bursting with quintessential Pepperjack character, this Mid Strength wine displays aromas of blackberries and plums with hints of pepper and spice. The palate is rich, round, and soft with concentrated berry fruits and soft velvety tannins. BUT, is 50% lighter in alcohol than a standard Pepperjack Shiraz.

The wine reveals deep garnet and ruby hues on the eye. A nose of coffee grounds, cocoa powder, sage bush and brambled blueberry gives way to violets, smoked white spice, roasted coconut and cedar wood. On the palate the wine has fruit sweetness wrapped around lengthy, chalky tannins and touches of moreish olive tapenade to finish.

A significant contribution of fruit from vines which are 100 years old make this one very special blend indeed. There’s a class and sophistication to what is a delicious medium bodied and brightly fruited red. Peter Lehmann Shiraz is always a reliable Barossa Shiraz. The nose offers lashings of dark plum with an underlay of dusted chocolate and the palate is brimming with rich fruit flavours restrained by soft fine grained tannins.

The Barossa Ink Shiraz is intense purple red in colour with great density. The bouquet is rich with plum, raspberries and dark cherries, with underlying hints of dark chocolate, coffee bean, and spice. This super rich, full bodied wine has a sensual palate offering plenty of texture, fine velvet tannins and soft, round dark fruit flavours.
