This award-winning Semillon Sauvignon from Margaret River put simply is everything we love about this classic blend. Clean and fresh showing ripe fruit characters of passionfruit and gooseberry. The palate is light and textured with ripe passionfruit and lemon thyme. Margaret River winemaker and vigneron Kevin McKay spent the first 15 years of his career developing his family’s Abbey Vale property. Then, under the mentorship of winemaker Dorham Mann, Kevin has developed iconic wines at Forester Estate. Priding himself on his attention to detail, his wines show trademark complexity and depth.

As in previous years, the Orenji is equal parts Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc sourced from Yungarra vineyard and a site in Rosa Glen. Both vineyards are organically managed. The fruit is hand-harvested in the cool of the morning, and ferments on skins in open fermenters for two weeks. After another eight weeks in a cement egg, the wine is pressed to barrel and egg. It undergoes full malolactic conversion before being bottled with minimal sulphur. No fining, no filtration.

Bursting with zesty lemon and lime, and a subtle hint of white blossom. Super vibrant and seriously delicious! Tropical fruit notes pair with aromas of freshly cut grass and crunchy apple. The finish is lively, bright, and refreshing. Classic summer drinking.

This wine is a blend of 79% Sauvignon Blanc, 16% Semillon and 5% Verdelho, and is made from certified biodynamic fruit. Harvested on the fruit and flower days of the biodynamic calendar and fermented without oak, additions of yeast or acid. Some skin contact time before fermentation.

Selected parcels of Sauvignon Blanc (87%) and Semillon (13%) from Western Australia’s premier Margaret River region, were fermented separately, without oak maturation and blended to deliver a wine with a little more mid-palate weight than our 100% Sauvignon Blanc – and with a distinctive citrus edge to the fruit spectrum. We’re pleased with its crispness and balance.

Lenton Brae is a pioneer of this style in Margaret River and one of the benchmarks. Tropical and citrus fruit marries seamlessly with subtle oak giving the wine wonderful length and depth of flavour.

In the glass: Pale lemon with a green hue. On the nose: Gooseberry, grapefruit and smokey oak aromas. On the palate: Layered and complex with lingering flavour persistence, lovely savoury layers of citrus fruit and faint tropicals, refreshing acidity and obvious yet good quality oak. A deluxe, complex style - one for the oak lovers.

A delicious wine to drink with or without food. The nose is loaded with tropical and passion fruits, which follow through onto the palate. Delicious fruit sweetness balanced by focused acidity and freshness makes this a very moreish wine. The grapes for this unwooded style are picked slightly riper than most in order to eliminate green characters and maximize the flavours of the tropical fruit spectrum and to give the wine greater palate weight and length.
