Co-founded by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in 1976, Duckhorn Vineyards has spent nearly fifty years establishing itself as one of North America’s premier producers of Napa Valley wines. The Decoy range was introduced in 1985 and is recognised for producing attractively priced wines from exceptional vineyard sources, including Decoy’s own Ridgeline and Brownell estate vineyards in the Alexander Valley of Sonoma County. Aged for 7 months in 100% French oak barrels, of which 25% were new. Opens with exotic aromas of ripe mango, pineapple, custard apple and sweet citrus zest. Smooth and supple on the palate, with refreshing acidity adding poise and polish to the tropical fruit flavours, and hints of vanilla and toasted almonds adding complexity to a long, rich finish.

Our Orange Chardonnay show classic cool climate fruit characters of white flowers and peach, integrated with barrel ferment complexity. A crisp and elegant style with lovely nectarine-like acidity. A wine to be enjoyed now or will benefit short term cellaring.

Orange is quietly making some of the best Pinot Gris in the country, and Printhie have it pretty well nailed. Their Topography range is about showing off the region’s cool-climate strengths, and Gris is right at home here. The high elevation keeps everything bright and fresh, while still giving the wine a bit of weight and texture. The 2024 vintage rolled along steadily and that shows in the glass – plenty of clean orchard fruit, a little savoury edge, and a nice, easy flow across the palate. It’s not trying to be flashy, just a well-balanced, versatile white that’s great with food or on its own. Aromas of rose petal and turkish delight. Silver Moscato is a blend of Muscat and Frontignac and has spent a short time on Shiraz skins to give it a touch of pink.

Barrel femented Sauvignon Blanc from cool climate Orange; Aromatics of grapefruit and guava compliment its beautifully balanced texture with great complexity.
