Il Papavero Pinot Grigio

As Richard Baudains of Decanter notes, "Everybody's talking about how fantastic today's best Sicilian wines are." That's certainly true of this crisp, fruity Pinot Grigio from Scipione Giuliani, the genius behind the bestselling Il Papavero range. It's laden with sunshine crispness and light, bright fruit. A sensational match to fresh seafood!

Farinelli Pinot Grigio

Stretching along Italy's Adriatic coast, the Abruzzo boasts pretty coastal coves and dramatic landscapes of soaring mountain peaks, deep valleys and ancient castles. The region also offers a range of attractive wines - the creamy, plum filled Montepulciano based reds, citrusy Trebbianos and, most recently, fruity Pinot Grigios. This Pinot Grigio is a new addition to our Farinelli range. The estate proudly champions a traditional trellising system, 'pergola abruzzese', which ensures the grapes receive excellent exposure to the bright sunshine and so gain full ripeness. The result is a lovely balance of bright pear and apple fruit, teamed with minerally zip. It makes an ideal apéritif and goes well with fish, chicken and creamy pasta.

Kim Crawford Marlborough Pinot Gris

Oh yeah. Don't miss out on this sexy, slippery wine exuding lychees, nuts and nashi pears (and yes we do believe there's a difference nashis are light and crisp while still having a depth of sweet fruit flavour). Hints of caramel complete a quite enigmatic wine. Blue Gold | Sydney International Wine Competition 2018

Saint & Scholar Pinot Gris

This grey-skinned grape Pinot Gris underwent a gentle winemaking process with minimal colour extraction from the skin that resulted in a beautiful blush hue. The soft palate is laced with pear and lychee flavours leading to a satisfying finish. This varietal can be enjoyed with oven-roasted chicken, meaty fish or pork dishes.
