Château Tanunda's Newcastle combines Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan and Cinsault for this Rhône styled Barossa Valley red blend. The wine is deep and dark in colour with big, juicy aromas with a hint of vanilla and French oak. This juiciness is continued onto the palate with raspberries, dark stone fruit and some light tannins. The structure is super smooth leading to a long, elegant finish.

GSM is a red wine blended from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre. Originally from France, this one is an Aussie offering from Barossa. It's fresh and silky with flavours of fresh berries and cherry. Really nice with lamb.

Hentley Farm was established in 1997 by Keith and Alison Hentschke, who had a single vision to craft exceptional single estate wines from the Barossa Valley. Using an old soil map from the 1950’s to strategically locate the best parcels of land, they discovered a mixed farming property set among the rolling hills on the banks of Greenock Creek in Barossa’s west, with remarkable diversity of soil types, and varying aspects and altitudes. This thoroughly appealing GSM is made exclusively for you by the Corryton Burge team under Trent Burge. The Burge family planted their roots in the Barossa Valley in the 1800s inspiring generations of devoted vignerons. Siblings Trent and Amelia Burge are sixth-generation Barossans. This rising star estate marries the family name with that of the family’s grand 1845 Corryton Park Homestead in Eden Valley. Their father, who mentors the enterprise, is none other than Barossa winemaking legend, Grant Burge. The Grenache revival is in full swing especially in the Barossa Valley where Cabernet Sauvignon and other varieties are being pulled out in favour of this slightly lighter bodied grape. Grenache was once prevalent here, providing fruit for the region's extensive production of fortified wines, and hence the existence of some of the oldest Grenache vines in the world! However, with an increasing market for slightly lighter, more accessible styles of red, Grenache is a 'new' rising star both in pure form and as here in fabulous GSMblends.
