This glorious, 91pt, FIVE-time Gold-medal claret comes from Ludovic Roussillon – who also co-owns a small property with the Thienpont family of legendary (and extraordinarily expensive) Château Le Pin. Bordeaux is where our story began 40 years ago...So we’ve plenty of friends, like Ludovic. His Château lies across the river from our exclusive cellar Le Chai au Quai. The soils here are rich in limestone and quick draining, which concentrates the rich flavours of the grapes. The result here is a lavishly rich and expressive wine that definitely impresses. We love it!

This irresistible black beauty is made from fabulously intense Shiraz and Grenache grapes grown on the craggy hillsides of France's Roussillon region. Look up from the vines and you will see ruins of castles perching precariously on rocky peaks. This inhospitable landscape and these ancient strongholds were home to medieval Cathars who lived in awe of evil god Rex Mundi ('King of the World'). He corrupted the faithful with promises of earthly pleasures and the forbidden delights of mortal flesh. Don't even try to resist, just sip and enjoy this lusciously ripe, juicy marriage of liquorice scented Shiraz and lush, silken Grenache. Gloriously easy to quaff on its own, it also goes well with barbecued meats, Cajun chicken or lamb chops.

This Grenache was cultivated in the south of France, between Béziers and Perpignan, near the Mediterranean coast.The 20- to 50-year-old sloping vineyards are located on clay-silty soils coming from the old Aude river, and from the clay-limestone soils of the Minervois PGI area. Deep purple in color with vivid highlights. Intense nose of red fruits, notes of soft spices . The palate is rich, well-balanced, round withnotes of fresh fruits coulis such as raspberry, strawberry, blueberry. Notes of spices lend freshness to the wine.

Biodynamic. La Moussière is one of the great vineyards of the Loire Valley. Cultivated with incredibly rocky, limestone-rich soils, this gently rolling vineyard lies on the ancient Saint-Doulchard marls, which form a part of the great Kimmeridgian chain (à la Chablis). Coupled with Mellot’s meticulous biodynamic farming and low yields, it’s a terroir responsible for some of Sancerre’s most striking and atypical wines. As usual, 50% of this wine underwent fermentation in huge wooden fermenters and was raised in oak casks—a fact that in no way compromises the fabulous purity and energy on offer. The balance of the wine was fermented and raised in traditional concrete vats before blending. All the wine was aged on fine lees for a period of roughly 12 months, further enhancing the wine’s famously deep and pulpy texture.

Clement is responsible for winemaking and sales, while Florian is focused on the vineyards. The terroir of this Pouilly Fume is unique in that it is composed of marl with a high proportion of fossilised oyster shells. This 100% Sauvignon Blanc opens up with aromas of white flowers, citrus zest, and delicate notes of oyster shell and seaspray. The palate is bright and lively, with a roundness and gentle richness on the palate.

Coteaux du Giennois, located northwest of Pouilly-Fume on the right bank of the Loire river, is the family's flagship appellation. Here, the terroir composed mainly of flint, limestone, and marl, ideal for expressive and exotic Sauvignon Blanc. The wine opens up with aromas of white flowers, citrus, and exotic fruits such as gooseberries, kiwi and passionfruit, with a lovely softness and elegance on the palate.

A classic Australian blend of structural Cabernet Sauvignon and rich, textural Syrah, reimagined in a French context.
