This even smells dark! Very deep, unfathomable nose showing discreet blackberries, damsons, graphite and tar, together with violets, chalk and meaty, black spices. A really full-bodied red with a full swing of chalky tannins. Brooding, nicely chewy and powerful. 40% tannat, 34% cabernet franc, 18% petit verdot, 5% merlot and 3% marselan.
