Wolf Blass established his winery in 1966, crafting wines which epitomized quality, character, and consistency; a philosophy our winemakers continue today. Forester Estate is owned by Vignerons Kevin and Jenny McKay. It’s situated in Yallingup, in the northern Margaret River region. Kevin’s motto is to build complexity and texture into his wines literally from the ground up! The superb wines are made by Todd Payne who has had “a distinguished career, starting in the Great Southern, then the Napa, Plantagenet, Esk Valley in Hawke’s Bay, and on to the Northern Rhône” (Halliday). This is a beautifully expressive wine. Inky, rich and herbal Cabernet melds with plummy, velvety, mouthfilling Merlot to create a really layered and complex wine you want to keep on sipping.

Battle of Bosworth started conversion to organic in 1995. Now, fully organic certified, they have a significant holding of 20 years and older vines. Their Puritan Shiraz is modelled on the young Tempranillos that come out of Rioja in Spain – no oak, just straight into bottle, so the fruit flavours really shine. (And they really do shine!) No added preservatives make this a top choice for the sulphur-sensitive.
