BedLam & OrdEr Langhorne Creek Shiraz Tempranillo Sagrantino

Marauding Vintners Langhorne Creek Chairman Shiraz

A horde of marauding vintners? It doesn't sound like something you'd like to meet anytime soon! But when word gets around that a parcel of really good wine is up for grabs, things can get pretty brutal. But our marauding vintners don't really pillage and plunder so much as cajole and encourage the makers of the prime wine to send it their way. Most of the pillaging is done to beers at the pub – and the plundering to our chequebook! The results are worth it. Small batch, unique and flavoursome wines are what we're all about. Taste this delicious example and see why.

Wild & Wilder Opportuni Wild & Wilder Opportunist Langhorne Creek Shiraz

An aromatic bouquet of ripe fruits, cherries and blackcurrants, with notes of freshly ground coffee, dark chocolate, peppermint, liquorice and subtle pepper. Thick and smooth with good balanced fruit weight.

Heart & Soil Langhorne Creek Shiraz

The Heartland story began in the late 1990s when winemaker Ben Glaetzer became excited about the outstanding quality of fruit being grown in some of South Australia’s lesser-known regions, in particular Langhorne Creek. Together with industry veterans, Scott Collett, Grant Tilbrook and more recently Nick Keukenmeester, they grew Heartland into an award-winning winery. In their velvety 93pt Heart & Soil Shiraz, a depth of black forest fruit and cassis is framed by the vanilla and Christmas spices of judiciously used French and American oak. Expect soft tannins and a lingering finish. "Richly fruited and instantly appealing, the wine shows blackberry, vanilla, mixed spice and toasted nut aromas, followed by a generously expressed palate offering succulent fruit flavours with silky texture and fine-grained tannins. Plump and velvety, making it highly enjoyable... 93pts" (Sam Kim, Wine Orbit).

Bremerton Selkirk Shiraz

The Selkirk is an excellent Shiraz from Bremerton and has a rich spicy flavour with a hint of pepper and a long, lingering finish - classic Langhorne Creek in style in a very well made package that can be both a drink now style or cellar nicely for the medium term.

Lake Breeze Bernoota Shiraz Cabernet

Bernoota was the original name of the Lake Breeze homestead and now the Bernoota Shiraz Cabernet is rightfully considered to be one of Australia's favourite Shiraz Cabernet blends. And they don't come much better than Bernoota for the price! Not only is it rich and luscious, filled with blackcurrant, spice and pepper, it has a touch of dark chocolate on the finish. The 2009 is a 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet blend and spends 20 months in a mixture of French and American Oak that will see the wine not only be enjoyable now, but develop beautifully in the bottle for a further 8 to 10 years.
