Barbadillo, established in 1821, continue to be a very important Sherry producer from within the 'Jerez Triangle' in south-western Spain. Well known for high class, quality Sherry's, this Cuco Oloroso is made in a slightly different way than what is considered the norm. An oxidative process is used to develop the nutty, complex characters into the wine instead of the usual Flor yeast system. This produces an intensely flavoured Oloroso with a rich and smooth texture and dominant walnut notes. The finish covers the palate with a dense, velvet like feel.

This new release from renowned Rioja producer Marques de Riscal marks a stylistic evolution in the estates signature style. An atypical crianza from the heart of the Rioja Alavesa region, this Tempranillo expresses all its fruitiness and youthfulness, with a moderate presence of wood that provides good balance and persistence. A fresh, fruity wine with a flavour profile reminiscent of red fruits subtly accompanied by aromas of wood, coconut and vanilla. Full on the palate, persistent and with character, a true reflection of the personality of the grapes from this terroir.

Autentica is a wine that celebrates the essence of the Verdejo variety in the Rueda DO. Its name pays tribute to this varietal, the true protagonist and exponent of a region where exceptional white wines are produced, characterised by their freshness and elegance, and always accompanied by fruity aromas and herbaceous notes. Auténtica reflects the pure and genuine flavour of an area with a great winemaking tradition. Pale yellow with subtle golden hues. On the nose, elegant citrus aromas such as tangerines and oranges and white flowers combined with subtle notes of dill and hay at the end. The aromas are reflected on the palate and the wine has a well-integrated acidity, a medium body and a fresh and pleasant finish.

El Pillo is a very brave young man, with a haughty disposition and who, on a moonless night, wanted to pay tribute to all the farmers by making the skies burn. That September night and in the middle of the harvest, El Pillo stole some explosives from a tunnel under construction and using cardboard reels he assembled a hundred and one rockets. At midnight, and after continuously ringing the church bells, he launched his entire arsenal from its highest point. No one would forget the darkness broken into pieces by that lavish flash of lights and colors. The brightness lasted so long that all the farmers saw from afar for the first and last time the beauty and nocturnal splendor of their vineyards. This wine honors all of that. Cherry garnet in color, this wine stands out for its ripe red fruit aromas and a flavorful, powerful, and expressive palate where the fruit reappears alongside hints of roasted notes.
