Lawson's Dry Hills is a family owned winery in Marlborough, focussed on the production of quality wine. Their Pinot Gris is a nod to the old world, with a leesy texture and a touch of residual sugar, this is a wine of finesse and elegance.

Bright, intense ruby red, Tasca Lamuri Nero d'Avola displays rich aromas of cherry, blackberry and mulberry. Vanilla bean, tobacco and aromatic herbs on the palate lead into dark forest fruits and oak adding a beautifully balanced flavour. Good structure and pleasantly fruity with red and black berries.

Medium lemon color with yellow-brown hay hues, and a clean nose of lemon blossoms, with piquant spices and herbs, citrus and some white-fleshed fruit, the essence of brioche bread and fresh cut grass. High acidity in the mouth and a medium volume in the body, dominated by citrus and floral white-fleshed fruit and spicy minerality. Very pleasant aftertaste with mineral, lemony and spicy characteristics and some green fruit.

Production Zone - Medium to low hillside along the valley ofVald’Adige and Oltradige. Elevation -250 – 500 above sea level. Soil Type - Mixed origin, predominantly limestone with good skeletonand presence of clay. Colour - Bright straw yellow in colour. Aroma - Heady scents of white fleshed fruit, especially pear and ripeapple, with floral and citrus notes. Palate - Dynamic and energetic on the palate, an aromaticsymphony with freshness as the conductor and a savoury tang asaccompaniment. Notes of tropical fruit provide a final flourish. Food Pairings -An excellent aperitif but also a very versatilecompanion to many different foods. Seafood starters, fish dishes,flavorsome soups and white meats.
