Following in the footsteps of the highly successful La Planchaliere rosé, we present a sparkling version in a handy can format. The wine is produced from grenache and cinsault and is a beautiful French rosé in colour. The bouquet presents delicate notes of strawberries and red berries such as raspberries and fresh cherries. The palate dances nicely between fresh fruits, citrus characters and a lovely clean, crispness.

The Montgravet brand is a tribute to the special terroirs from which our winemakers have sourced this top-quality wine. Mainly situated on south exposed gentle slopes, called Mont, they benefit from the warm sun, while the mists from the sea bring cooler winds. These specific vines were planted on clay soils mostly made of pebbles, called Gravet and their roots go deep into the ground to find water, enhancing the elegance of the wine.

Here, the monks of Saint Hilaire are said to have mastered sparkling wine methods in 1531, centuries ahead of Dom Pérignon. The cuvée is rich in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir – like Champagne – and nearly half the wine is oak fermented – just like Krug!
