Louisa Rose is a master when it comes to Riesling and Pewsey Vale consistently over delivers on quality and value every vintage. The current vintage has racy lime juice and citrus blossom with driving mineral acidity on the finish. 'This may be the best-value single vine wine in the country. The cooler climate wine is energetic and precise, rippling with zesty citrus and a bit of blossom, a dusting of talc and sprinkling of lemon thyme. On release, the wine has a complex aroma. Lifted yellow peach and nectarine characters dominate. Subtle spice and creamy characters add to the wines aromatic complexity. The palate is restrained and elegant. It displays the same fruit characters of peach and nectarine through-out. The mid and back palates are driven by a gentle line of lemon-like acid. Mountadam was first setup in 1972 by the late David Wynn, a pioneer of the wine industry an founder of Wynns Coonawarra Estate. Wynn made the winery famous on the back of superb cool climate wines, supported by his son Adam (who the winery is named after). Adam held onto the winery until 2002 when it was sold to luxury goods business LVMH. The winery returned to family hands again in 2006 when it was purchased by South Australian farmer and accountant David Brown and his wife Jenni. In late 2015 the Browns acquired the second High Eden vineyard established by Wynn. The two vineyards are dissected by High Eden road. The Brown family are keen to continue Wynn's vision to produce wines of elegance and structure. A focus on sustainable low input viticulture will guarentee the success of the vineyards into the future. From 2015, Helen McCarthy has steered the ship as Chief Winemaker.

Kerner... this evocative, textural treat is the brain child of August Herold. First planted in 1929 as a cross-breed of Riesling and Trollinger... fast forward 76 years to when Barossa bros Graeme & Michael Fechner had that elusive lightbulb moment - to plant Kerner cuttings in their northern Eden Valley vineyard whilst on a research trip in Germany. Their pioneering efforts, sparked our intrigue... we first dabbled with Kerner incorporating it into our aromatic field blend DÜFTE PUNKT, co-fermenting it with Riesling and Gewürztraminer from the same vineyard. The wine is green and vibrant in appearance, with aromas of zesty lemon and grapefruit. An intense and generous palate, with lively citrus fruit and hints of talc. The wine finishes clean and dry with refreshing, long acidity. As is the case with all great Eden Valley Rieslings, mesh will age gracefully and reliably into a mature wine under the Stelvin closure.

Introduced in 1999 (originally as Eden Valley Reserve Bin Riesling), Bin 51 (from 2006) captures the attributes of the Eden Valley, adjacent to the Barossa Valley. The region’s altitude and cool climate consistently produces Riesling of great finesse and elegance with a capacity for long term cellaring. Bin 51 is typically fragrant with intense lime and rose petal aromas and fine, cutting acidity. It develops complexity and richness with age without losing clarity, freshness or linear acid structure. Grape parcels are batch-vinified in steel tanks and bottled early under screw-caps to preserve pristine fruit characters, freshness and natural mineral quality.

The colour of gold struck through with green, this Riesling shows classic lime and mineral aromas with a touch of gooseberry. Rich and full-bodied, the citrus and tropical fruit flavours are underpinned by crisp acidity.

This is one of the finest Chardonnays produced in Australia. Sourced from vineyards in the High Eden, Mountadam's Chardonnay expresses fruit of peach, nectarine and nashi pear with undertones of spice and nutmeg. A true Chardonnay lovers delight.

Langtons is proud to be first to market with the inaugural vintage of this Riesling, a selection from a very special part of the famous Contours vineyard. When it comes to Eden Valley Riesling, no name is greater than the Langtons Classified Contours Riesling from Pewsey Vale. The Contours vineyard was first planted in 1841, but the distinctive site we know today -- with vines planted along the contours of an Eden Valley hillside rather than in straight rows -- dates from the 1960s. From 1961 in fact, and this new wine comes from a single block of the oldest vines, planted in that year on a north-facing slope. The Contours Riesling is released with five years of bottle age. This new wine -- although almost equally ageworthy -- is a more approachable style and therefore suitable for release (like most other Rieslings) in the year following vintage. For many (or most) the 1961 Block Riesling will be indistinguishable from The Contours. The value here is obvious.

Freya Riesling is a pristine bone dry style with piercing racy acidity and delicate lime and floral notes. The Riesling is sourced from the Eden Valleys high Eden sub-region. The fruit is whole bunch pressed with only the free run juice retained. Cool fermentation retains the wines fruit purity and delicacy.
