John Duval rose to winemaking fame as the craftsman of the mighty Penfolds Grange, before going it alone to further forge his reputation as a maker of great Shiraz. The aim of The Entity is to produce a wine true to the region. Rich and complex it shows ripe, spicy fruit characters with a complex savoury oak influence framed by fine lingering tannins.

Awarded a Gold medal at the 2017 Royal Adelaide Wine Show, this elegant Pinot Gris comes from a growing season that can be characteristed as being long andcool. In the glass: Pale lemon green. On the nose: Really fragrant jasmine, pear and citrus with a light ginger spice lift. Om the palate: Vibrant and elegant with apple, pear and grapefruit core depth, subtle hints of spice adding complexity, a smooth, velvety mouth-feel and a mouth-watering finish. Poised yet powerful with loads of potential.

The palate is medium-bodied and generous, delivering juicy red berry fruit, touches of confectionery and savoury spice balanced by silky tannins and fresh acidity. Smooth, rounded and highly drinkable, it finishes with lingering spice and soft texture.
