Geoff Weaver has journeyed from the big end of town to a tiny, intimate pocket of the Adelaide Hills. From his role as chief winemaker for the Hardy group of companies, in 1992 he made the break from corporate winemaking to pursue his own dream on the Lenswood vineyard that he and wife Judith had started planting a decade earlier. Those vines, some of the oldest in the Hills, are really reaping the rewards of maturity. Tightly structured yet aromatically lifted wine but with a supple mid-palate and a fine, crisp finish. The nose is fresh and lively with a lifted aroma of lime blossom. The palate is fruity with a juicy zest and a fine mineral edge.

Our Riesling is produced from 5 different clones enhancing the continued varietal flavours. Brilliantly clear with initial light floral aromas, followed with zesty flavours of spice, light citrus &; fresh ginger, a mouth-watering mid palate & a wonderful tight finish.Drink now to 2030.

Ten months in French oak (30% new), the fruit from one of our highest yielding vintages is brilliant straw green in colour and displays light citrus aromas combined with white stonefruit and a wonderful creamy multi layered finish from extended time on lees. Excellent cellaring potential.

Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc from the cool, high altitude vineyards of Lenswood is a masterclass in elegance and restraint. On the nose it bursts with vibrant aromas of passionfruit, pineapple and grapefruit, hinting at the exotic fruit intensity that defines this variety. The palate however, take a more refined approach. Lean, delicate, and beautifully structured, with a touch of fresh spring vegetables and subtle herbal notes adding complexity. A sophisticated take on Sauvignon Blanc, crafted exclusively from estate-grown Lenswood fruit and aged for 6 months on lees in 3-4 yr old French oak. The result is a beautifully balanced wine that retains the vibrant, fruit driven aromatics of Sauvignon Blanc, think citrus and white peach, whilst retaining the distinctive herbaceous characteristics of the site. The seasoned French oak imparts a velvety texture, softens the acidity, and introduces a subtle savoury layer of nutty, smoky complexity. It's a more refined, food friendly expression of the variety, elegant, textural and undeniably grown up.

Bright and youthful, the fragrant bouquet shows green rockmelon, lime peel, crunchy apple and white floral aromas, followed by a lively palate offering pristine fruit flavours with fine texture and crisp acidity. Charming and juicy with a lingering zesty finish.
