The Pepperjack range is a tribute to the Barossas rich heritage. Our winemaking team has respect for traditional winemaking techniques and is also dynamic and imaginative. The Pepperjack winemakers are conscious of modern wine styles, and are creating wines that reflect our passion for this special region. The Pepperjack wines are rich and honest - showcasing the Barossas outstanding qualities. The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon shows aromas of ripe dark berry fruits, black currants and plums with mint and varietal leafy tones. The palate is rich and flavoursome, full of plush, dark fruit with some savouriness and hints of oak. The tannins are soft. Generous length and balance finishing rich and soft.

Sourced from premium vineyards within the Barossa valley, this wine has been matured for fifteen months in seasoned and new French and American oak barrels. This wine displays aromas of black cherries, blackberries with hints of plum and varietal leafy notes. The palate is rich and full bodied, with layers of dark berries and soft chalky tannins.

A wine with the pizzazz of a unicorn, but the serious expression of a rhino. All of the deep, dark, saturating cassis and blackberry flavours Barossa Cabernet drinkers seek. Balanced by a velvety smooth and plush finish. Light maturation in ex-whisky barrels introduces subtle nuances of caramel and creamy vanillin oak. Richly satisfying.

The Bethany Cabernet Merlot from the Schrapel family's Bethany winery exhibits herbal blackberry and cherry flavours with subtle oak in the background. Drinking well now, but also can handle a little bit of medium term cellaring to really coax those soft, ripe tannins to infuse beautifully with its primary fruit.

Hentley Farm The Marl Cabernet Sauvignon reinforces the elegance and complexity of the expressions produced under this winery. The name comes from the carbonate mineral rich soil, Marl, which the fruit is grown on. It has good water and nutrient retention. As a result, grapes has richer and bolder flavours. Strong Cabernet traits of black coffee, dark mint chocolate and earthy notes, whilst the Barossa Shiraz shines through the glass with aromas of plum, dark cherry and spice.
